WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL DATES?
Pre Party – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th, 2024
Festival – THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 26th – SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29th, 2024
WHERE IS WAKAAN MUSIC FESTIVAL LOCATED?
The festival is located on Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Arkansas.
WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS?
Wakaan Music Festival is a strictly 18+ event. Everyone must bring a valid ID such as a driver’s license or passport.
WHEN CAN I ARRIVE?
GENERAL 3-DAY PASS HOLDERS: General 3-day pass holder arrival begins at 1 AM the morning of Thursday, Sep 26th.
EARLY ARRIVAL PASS HOLDERS: Early arrival passes can be purchased for $99.99 that allow for 8am entry on Sep 25th as well as a special pre-party.
All early arrival passes are sold per person and everyone in a vehicle arriving early must have their own individual early arrival pass + 3-day festival pass.
All Gold VIP ticket holders receive FREE early entry and do not need to purchase any additional passes.
WHEN DO WE HAVE TO LEAVE?
We ask that all attendees be off the property no later than 3pm on Sunday, Sept 29th. PLEASE make sure to clean up your campsite and LEAVE NO TRACE! This is a beautiful mountain and it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of it
WHAT ARE THE SCHEDULED HOURS FOR MUSIC?
Music is scheduled from early afternoon to just past sunrise each day. Music will end on the morning of Sunday, Sept 29th around sunrise.
IS WAKAAN A CASHLESS EVENT?
No, Wakaan Music Festival accepts cash at the box office, bars & official merchandise store. There are also ATM banks on site to pull out cash if needed. All 3rd party vendors such as craft and food will dictate their own payment methods.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE? IS IT HOT, COLD, OR BOTH?
The weather can range anywhere from the low 60’s (F) at night to the 70’s-80’s (F) during the day. Make sure to bring clothing for all weather, warm and cold. Rain is always possible so please prepare for that (rain boots, rain flys for tents, panchos etc).
WHAT ITEMS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE FESTIVAL?
- Camping gear including tents, canopies, sleeping bags, tarps, etc
- Camping chairs, tables, coolers, cutlery, etc
- Lanterns, flashlights, headlamps, and batteries
- Personal camping stoves (Please follow our charcoal and propane policies)
- Rain gear including umbrellas, ponchos, rain boots, tarps, etc
- Cigarettes (packages must be sealed upon entry)
- Small digital cameras without removable lenses (point and shoot) and Go-Pros
- Cell phones & chargers
- Flow toys (NO fire performance props or fire performance prop accessories)
- Empty refillable bottles and hydration packs
- Flags and banners (Totems are allowed, but please no dangerous metal pieces)
- Sealed feminine products
- Prescription medication with your Legal Name
- Electric and Solar powered generators
- Small Mirrors No Larger than 12″x12″
- Collapsible Wagons
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE FESTIVAL OR CAMPGROUNDS?
Each person and their belongings are subject to search upon entry and with each entry into the festival venue. Please view the list below to see what you cannot bring into Wakaan Music Festival. These items will be confiscated if found and may not be returned.
- Fireworks, flying prayer lanterns, or explosives
- FIRE: Open flames, campfires, candles, fire performance props, or tiki torches
- No generators (RV’s with built in generators that run off the RV’s gas are permitted; external gas generators and gas cans are not permitted. Solar generators are exempt)
- Gas or fuel cans of any kind (except small propane tanks for camping- please follow our charcoal and propane policies)
- Drones or professional cameras/equipment without explicit permission and proper media credentials
- Audio recording equipment
- Illegal substances or paraphernalia — including medical marijuana medical card.
- Weapons of any kind, regardless of permits
- Glass
- Laser pointers
- Pets (Please leave your furry friends at home!)
- Sound systems or amplifiers
- Professional/personal use radios or walkie-talkies
- Motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, or motorized bikes
- Non motorized bicycles, skateboards, or scooters
- No One Wheelers
- Flags or totems with metal pieces
- Unsealed eye-drop containers, over-the-counter medications, or opened bottles of vitamins
- Gas powered generators
- Box Trucks
- Full Sized Mirrors
- No Helium Tanks
- No Power Tools
- No golf clubs
- No unauthorized merchandise
- No threatening signs or apparel
- No Confederate flags
- No Native American headdresses
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE MAIN STAGE FESTIVAL VENUE?
All Items listed in the “what items are not allowed inside the campgrounds” section are NOT allowed plus:
- No Outside alcohol, drinks or water (water bottles and hydration packs must be empty)
- No Glass
- No weapons
- No illegal substances
- No tanks with compressed air
- No drones
- No professional cameras
- No explosives or fireworks
- No bbq grills
- No laser pointers
- No Animals – Please leave your best friends at home!
- No Flyers
- No Markers or spray paint
- No Motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, one-wheels, bicycles, scooters or motorized bikes
- No non motorized bicycles, skateboards, or scooters
- No aerosol products with the exception of sunscreen
- No pepper spray or tasers
- No sky lanterns or fire props
- No strollers
- Non-Collapsible Wagons
- Certain inflatables & chairs (see below for inflatable restrictions.
INFLATABLES?
Certain inflatables are allowed into the main stage concert area.
Allowed:
Single person inflatable lounger
Single person inflatable chair
Folding lawn chair
One single-person inflatable or chair per person.
NOT Allowed:
Bounce houses
Tents & tent setups
Large couches / sectionals / loveseats
Mattresses
Large multi-person rafts
Pool inflatables
Kiddie pools
Large umbrellas & beach/sun shades
WAGONS?
Collapsable Wagons anything up to 35″Hx35″Wx35″D. Anything smaller is approved, as long as it can break down. Anything larger will not be allowed into the Main Stage Area.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Pets are NOT allowed. Please do not bring your best friends to Wakaan Music Festival.
IS THERE WATER ONSITE?
Yes! There will be multiple hydration fill stations throughout the festival grounds.
There are portable toilets throughout the campground/venu and flushable toilets and showers located ONLY in the upgraded RV/Tent campsite area. You must have the upgraded RV/tent pass to access this area. VIP and GA Primitive Camping will NOT have access to these bathrooms.
VIP will have access to flushable toilets in the concert area.
WILL THERE BE SHOWERS AVAILABLE?
Yes, there will be a shower trailer on-site. Showers cost $10 per use.
Free Showers Included with VIP Silver and Gold Tickets. Shower Hours from 8AM – 10PM.
ARE THERE FLUSHABLE TOILETS AND SHOWERS?
There are flushable toilets and showers located ONLY in the upgraded RV/Tent campsite area. You must have the upgraded RV/tent pass to access this area. VIP and GA Primitive Camping will NOT have access to these bathrooms. VIP Silver and Gold will have access to flushable toilets in the concert area.
IS THERE ELECTRICITY ONSITE?
There will be electricity access available for Upgraded RV/Tent Campsites ONLY. Primitive and shade camping will NOT have electric hook ups or access to electricity. Gas Generators are NOT allowed in any of the camping areas (including RVs).
WHAT IF I NEED ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES, LIKE SUNSCREEN, LIGHTERS, ETC.?
There will be a general store onsite to sell supplies such sunglasses, sunscreen, lighters, bug spray, etc. While the store will try to accommodate as many items as possible, it does not sell tents, canopies, or other large gear. Please make sure to plan ahead and bring your essentials.
IF I’M CAMPING, CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
VEHICLE RE ENTRY POLICY: THERE WILL BE NO OVER-NIGHT RE ENTRY. If you need to go off site, the re-entry hours are between 9am and 4pm. If you leave site during this window and do not arrive before the window ends, you will not be able to drive into the site again until the following morning at 9am. Your vehicle will be subject to search when you return to the grounds.
VEHICLE RE-ENTRY WILL COST $40 PER CAR.
We prefer that attendees do not leave and come back unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. There will be a general store with everything you need to purchase onsite if you forgot or run out of something. If you have to leave, you must abide by our vehicle re-entry policies. Please prepare ahead of time so you don’t have to leave.
Alcohol Restrictions?
Each Person is allowed to bring ONE of the following:
– 1 Case of Beer or Seltzer (Maximum of 24 12oz cans)
– Box of Wine
– 1 Plastic Liter /Handle of Hard Liquor
All Bottles / Cans Need to Be Aluminum or Plastic. NO Glass Allowed.
IS THERE CELL PHONE SERVICE AT MULBERRY MOUNTAIN?
Cell service can be spotty at the mountain and is carrier dependent. Verizon has the strongest signal but can still be slow or unusable at times due to the amount of attendees.
IS THERE A MEDICAL AREA?
Yes! There is a large medical area by the powered RV spots (southeast corner of the property) as well as a medical tent on the left side of the main stage concert area if you are in the crowd looking at the stage. The main medical area operates 24/7 and the main stage medical tent operates anytime that gates are open in that area.
Lost & Found?
Attendees can inquire about lost items at the Guest Services booth, located next to the Main Event Entrance. Attendees are encouraged to visit this booth to ask questions and receive information regarding the festival.
